WITH MANY INSURANCE PLANS PATIENTS END UP PAYING THE SAME AS THEY WOULD WITH ANY IN-NETWORK PROVIDER -- THERE ARE NUMEROUS PLANS AND VARIATIONS, SO THE ONLY WAY TO KNOW FOR SURE IS FOR THE PATIENT TO SHARE THEIR INSURANCE INFORMATION WITH US AND WE CAN FIND OUT.
WE ALWAYS QUOTE FEES UPFRONT TO BE TRANSPARENT AND SIMPLE.
INSURANCE PATIENTS CAN GO HERE TO UPLOAD THEIR INSURANCE INFORMATION.
SELF-PAY PATIENTS CAN GO HERE TO FIND OUT OUR LATEST SELF-PAY FEES.
Medicare: We are in-network.
Medicaid: We are unable to see these patients at this time as we are out of network and the state government does not allow us to bill them.
VA: We are out-of-network but offer veterans discounts on our self-pay prices.
Commercial insurances: We are out-of-network but our biller negotiates on the patient’s behalf so the patient usually will pay at in-network rates (if not, we will inform the patient upfront). Copays are listed on the patient's card as "Specialist copay" -- if there is nothing listed, then it is $50.
If the patient's plan has no out-of-network benefits, Dr. Cober's office will let the patient know their amount due prior to the procedure day via email/text/phone (typically $100-$200 depending on insurance and procedure(s) planned).
Self-pay (no insurance): As of June 2026, here are our self-pay prices:
New patient consult: $160
Follow-up visit where no procedure was yet done: $135
Post-procedure appointments are free when related to the procedure.
Colonoscopy $300, EGD $300, double $500 (as of June 2026).
Other procedure costs can be quoted after we can review the case. As far as we are aware, we have the lowest prices in the region.
